The "Unity Drum Dance Tour" Vision

It all began in New Hampshire where I began creating Ceremonial Drum Circles, in 1997 with the support of my dear sister Joy Wolf. Together we created a spiritual community that gathered for each new and full moon, to celebrate our connection to the Creator and Mother Earth. From these humble beginnings, our community grew to encompass gatherings of 30 or more people each month. The word spread and I was asked to facilitate these Ceremonial Drum Circles in a number of locations throughout New England.
When the time came for me to leave New Hampshire, I stopped hosting the Drum Circles. My community spoke volumes of appreciation for the gifts they had received through participation in these gatherings. The feelings of Sanctuary, Unity, Peace , Love and appreciation resounded throughout the feedback from the hundred or more people who attended my going away party, which was our final event held at my home.
Because of the feelings shared by so many. I wondered... If this had such an impact on the number of people here, then how can this be utilized to create change on a larger scale? So I began to pray and meditate on the question. When the answer came, it shocked me, that the vision I received was on such a grand scale, even beyond what I could have imagined possible.
A dear friend of mine shared that when she was a child, her father was part of the original planning board for Disneyland in Anaheim CA. As a child she was privileged to attend board meetings with her father and got to know Walt Disney. While listening to me tell her of my Vision, she was reminded of those times when she listened to Walt express his Vision and that hearing me speak reminded her of Walt and the passion in which he exuded his dreams, goals and visions of a wonderful place for kids of all ages. As we all know Walt Disney was not alone in creating his vision, but this does serve as a platform of understanding that there is no dream or vision too big to accomplish, with the right people joining the team of Visionaries. So what will you or someone you know contribute to such a vision? There is no shortage of things we all can do to bring this to reality with the hearts of like minded people who want to share in creating something magical...

About Gary "Whitewolf" Woodings
I was born May, 29 1960 in Anaheim California, and grew up with the commonly hidden heritage that has occurred within the United states. I knew little of my Native American heritage until I was an adult of about thirty years old. After seeking spiritual connection through several churches, I finally found my way to the teachings of the Lakota nation and the Inipi (Sweat Lodge), where I felt at home. I soon learned to be a Fire Tender. This was the foundation of my spiritual birth and the roots of my connection to Creator/God, Mother Earth and All that is.
Though I was born of Cherokee and Irish decent I followed Lakota ways for more than a decade and still participate in those ceremonies. In 2001 I was invited into the Cherokee teachings in New York City with the Nuagi Ketoowah Society, where I participated in Ceremonies from 2001 through 2002, before returning to New Hampshire.
I have also studied teachings from my Irish heritage and participated in Druid Ceremonies. In May of 2004 I joined Joseph Keane in a Sacred Sites Tour of Ireland, that truly awakened deep soul memories for me. I have studied metaphysics since 1997. I have studied and received my level two Reiki atunement (an ancient Japanese practice).
Since June of 2008 I have been practicing Ipsalu Tantra Kryia Yoga, while honoring the rest of my teachings.
The most exciting, yet comforting thing I have found is the common thread of all of these ancient practices. Like a golden thread that shimmers in the light, it shows there are but different versions of the connection to God/Goddess/Creator of all that is upon the earth.
It is through these various teachings that I am drawn to unite as many cultures as possible to create "The Unity Drum Dance Tour" from around the world. I feel we are children of God, no matter what our language calls him/her within our traditions, practices, beliefs and religions. It is time to set aside the differences that have lead to judgment and war so we may embrace one another as brothers and sisters sharing this little planet called Earth in this time of global conscious awakening.
